openSUSE 12.3 is 'almost released', Factory unfrozen and we don't want to keep fellow Factory geekos waiting too long: of course, in the last months, we were busy like bees (how busy are geekos?) and we are almost ready with GNOME 3.8 yet (well, waiting for upstream. Release date is scheduled to be March 27 2013).
Until then, we will already integrate what we have by now, GNOME 3.7.91, into GNOME:Factory and hopefully also into openSUSE:Factory (hint: I already run it here based on our packages from the staging repository... other than some 'cleanup' to be done here and there, it all works smooth).
Just want to say: this is exciting! It looks like we'll be able to have GNOME 3.8 quite fast, and on 12.3 too (with the usual GNOME:STABLE repo). Can't wait for it :-)
