[openFATE 306904] Distributed Shared memory library

Feature added by: Peter Morreale (pmorreale) Feature #306904, revision 1 Title: Distributed Shared memory library Hackweek IV: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Peter Morreale (pmorreale) Description: The feature is a library to allow applications to reference and maintain shared memory segments with consistent data across a network fabric. This is similar to the old DEC Memory Channel functionality that allowed multiple machines to read and write to specific memory locations on those nodes. A couple of our customers have asked for similar functionality and as a result, I have been working on a initial implemention. For more specific information, please contact me directly. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306904

Maybe one of them can be used to + implement the functionality that the customers want. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306904
