Feature changed by: kojot 350 (kojot350) Feature #305683, revision 18 Title: Add web browser for SUSE Installation openSUSE-11.2: New Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Vincent Steenhoute (civ75) Description: While installing SUSE with the classic installation CD/DVD, add a web browser. Somes peoples don't use LiveCD and prefer Install DVD, giving them possibility to browse internet while all the package are installed would be a must. I guess Webkit will fit nicely with the QT UI of our installation. Discussion: #1: kojot 350 (kojot350) (2009-02-04 12:24:49) Just use Live CD/DVD. #2: Piotrek Juzwiak (benderbendingrodriguez) (2009-02-05 18:02:39) kojot, did You read the comment at all?? Some prefer the DVD as it is more flexible but leaves them standing before the desktop like a plant doing nothing until install finishes (you can always read a book but hey it's my opinion). + #3: kojot 350 (kojot350) (2009-02-08 23:06:51) + Piotrek, of course read the feature description and I think it's + overrated. I just wanted to point out the purpose of Live CD/DVD - to + have ability to use programs (E.g. web browser) during installation. + What do you assume that if someone does not agree with you, he didn't + read the description. It's just my opinion, get over it. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/305683
