[opensuse-factory] [RFT] Anyone wiling to give systemd v233 a try ?
Hi all, Just a few words to let you know that a testing package of systemd v233 is available at: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:fbui:systemd:next:openSUSE-Fact... It's been not very well tested (but I thought some of you might be interested to give it a try) so please do not install it on your favorite setups. Cheers. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Is this required by the new version of systemd ? if so which part exactly ? Thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, see https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/systemd-devel/2017-March/038419.html " Note that from this version on, CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API_HASH, CONFIG_CRYPTO_HMAC and CONFIG_CRYPTO_SHA256 need to be enabled in the kernel. hmm, libsystemd is currently not included in the initramfs AFAICS. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, I applied the patch and installed systemd v233 on my openSUSE Tumbleweed i586 installation. It works so far and I didn't find any errors in the log, that did not occur already with the older version.
