Of course.
and select "Desktop Settings". If i go to change the "Wallpaper" to either "Desktop" or "Folder View", what am i laying the wallpaper on if its not already a desktop?
You cannot change the "Wallpaper" to either "Desktop" or "Folder View". That's the desktop "Layout". "Folder View" displays the content of a particular folder on the desktop like in KDE3.
Any reason why "Layout" is in the "Wallpaper" configuration? I would have thought that "layout" and "wallpaper" were separate configuration choices. I guess i find it strange that "Folder View" is a layout choice as i'd prefer to have a folder view on a desktop.
To change the wallpaper, just select one of the previews, or click on "Open" to choose an arbitrary picture file.
But that's actually no different to KDE4.
Kind Regards, Wolfgang
