[opensuse-factory] Brightness broken since kernel 4.16
All kernel 4.16 releases brake my brightness. I've got intel hd 3000 integrated gpu and if I use kernel 4.15 I can change brightness with fn keys or xbacklight or kde pwer manager, but with all releases of 4.16 none of this method works. In particular with xbacklight I get this message No protocol specified No outputs have backlight property How can I solve this issue? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

First off, please try the latest kernel in OBS Kernel:stable repo. Sometimes a regression is already addressed in the stable release. If a problem remains, open a bugzilla report. And, take hwinfo outputs on both on working and non-working kernels, and attach to Bugzilla. thanks, Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
