[opensuse-factory] Issue with opensuse Leap alfa
first install with image went fine, no problems. Yesterday I did zypper dup (maybe we should not?) and that pulled in a new kernel. While it should AFAIU have been 4.12.14-lp151.20 (at least this is mentioned in grub menu) it starts up to the login of 4.12.14-lp151.19 and stays there without being able to use keyboard. Journalctl -r gives no particular error message, nor does dmesg. This is a kvm virtualized image under TW, but settings from the install have not changed. I do not know if this is the right place to post this. Please advise if not. _________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ Ihre E-Mail-Postfcher sicher & zentral an einem Ort. You are probably experiencing bug 1123476. This seems to be a problem with Leap 15.1 under KVM. If I used the "Advanced" menu in grub and select the previous kernel, then it boots up without a problem. But booting the newest kernel just leaves the system in some sort of hang. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

So for future issues: factory is the correct list for issues with alfa and beta versions? And in bugzilla I guess I choose "15.1". Thanks for the heads up. _________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ Ihre E-Mail-Postfächer sicher & zentral an einem Ort.
