Hi current version in repo is 384.90 which won't work with recent kernel how soon we may see the update? :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Which "repo" are you talking about? And which nVidia card are you talking about? If you are going to ask a question then supply at least this basic information if you want help from others. nVidia 384.90 works perfectly with kernel 4.14.x on both Leap 42.3 and Tumbleweed. I am currently using nvidia driver 384.89 which, also, is working perfectly with kernel 4.14.x. You will find the latest driver here: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/533434/linux/current-graphics-drive... BC -- "You should never argue about politics or religion. Or anything else if you're going to come out with crap like that." Is there any official repo other than https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/tumbleweed/ ?

GTX 660Ti. But it doesn't matter. Driver won't compile

Not for me: /tmp/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-384.90/kernel/nvidia-drm/nvidia-drm-crtc.c:173:6: error: ‘const struct drm_crtc_helper_funcs’ has no member named ‘enable’; did you mean ‘disable’? .enable = nvidia_crtc_enable, ^~~~~~

Got the same error, but had a very old 375.82. Using bumblebee, though. I updated to latest version from the bumblebee repo, which is 384.98. That one does compile without errors. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I use the Tumbleweed Nvidia repository. I use a Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card. As a work-around I can boot into rescue mode and reinstall nvidia-gfxG04-kmp-default. But why is this necessary? Hm, so, did you get success with latest snaphsot (20171120 kernel 4.14) and nvidia-gfxG04-kmp-default from nvidia's repo? On 2017-11-22 19:37, Bjoern Voigt wrote:

It doesn't work for me with 4.14. Previous snapshots has some dependency issue with libelf-devel or so iirc, but reinstalling kmp- package was fine.
I updated kernel from kernel-default-4.13.12-1.1.x86_64 to kernel-default-4.14.0-1.6.x86_64.
