We want "cups-pdf" to go into official repository.
I summarized the point of arguments about cups-pdf.
Please Request For Comments about "cups-pdf".
I wait till 2014-06-25 (+0900).
And after, I will build new package (in order to apply "2."'s patch).
1. What should be taken into consideration about security?
1.1. AppArmor
Please see:
http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-factory/2014-06/msg00120.html
1.x. others?
Please see:
http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-security/2014-06/msg00017.html
2. Where should cups-pdf puts files.
I like "{$HOME}/PDF".
It is same as Debian and Ubuntu.
But if you have more good idea, please say it.
3. Which version should we release, 2.6.1 or 3.0beta1?
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?project=Printing&package=cups-pdf
is 2.6.1.
Fedora 20, Debian 7.5 and Ubuntu 14.04 have 2.6.1.
But http://www.cups-pdf.de/download.shtml says
"This is the current source package: cups-pdf_3.0beta1.tar.gz".
I think that openSUSE should use 2.6.1.
But if you like 3.0beta1, please say it.
