I did it (sorry not to mentioned it on early post), and it failed to boot.
I just find the issue that new kernel-desktop (2.6.33) will not boot properly except get the package from kernel:HEAD repository*, not yet fixed on Factory. Hopefully M3 will be having the good ones.

It's fixed now by removing preload-kmp-desktop first, and then 'zypper dup' per 7 March.
