[opensuse-factory] Broken Fonts in system settings -> Fonts and Mozilla

Hello Listmates, I recently installed/upgraded to factory on two machines. On machine #1 I did a new installation from DVD using snapshot 20140630. On machine #2 I had openSUSE 13.1 running, using Tumbleweed and did a zypper dup after enabling the factory repos. On both machines the fonts in system settings -> Fonts and in Mozilla are unreadable. Here is a screenshot: http://susepaste.org/51783997 I filed a bug report under: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=888061 Besides fixing the bug does anybody know a quick workaround for this? Everything there is too tiny for me to tell much. Is that Gnome? Does the corruption still happen if you try a different session type, TWM or IceWM or KDE? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." It's KDE. I haven't tried a different session type. The reason why the fonts look so tiny is, that they _seem_ to be "shrunk". But they aren't. They are just... well, unreadable. If you use Firefox try to magnify the graphic with <ctrl-+> and you will see that the fonts in system settings -> fonts (and in Firefox too) look like shrunken scans of business letter pages. There is not a single recognizable letter to be seen. What used to be - and should be - letters of the alphabet now looks like some kind of strange symbols to me. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Your bug has insufficient information included. What I asked for via the bug may be enough to start on a solution, but triage will probably ask for more according to this page: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST Your pastebin image should be attached to the bug too. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
