[opensuse-factory] tifm module
Hello, Could someone test for me, please, does kernel in Factory is compiled with tifm_core, tifm_7xx1 and tifm_sd modules? I noticed that kernel from http://software.opensuse.org/download/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_10.2/ does not have this module and I can not use Card Reader in Acer notebook. -- Rafał Miłecki

Christina, so far the official kernel tree contains version 0.7 of tifm driver, which is highly broken and thus not activated on the factory kernel. The latest version able to download of the tifm driver, version 0.8, works perfect for me. It is already included in the -mm kernel tree and will make it's jump in the official tree soon hopefully. That's right, I were testing 0.8 version. Hope they will include it in 2.6.22-rc1 :-) -- Rafał Miłecki
