[opensuse-factory] bug in yast profile manager - file "/etc/resolv.conf" ignored ?

/etc/resolv.conf file is not modified between profile changes. This file is mentioned in resource group "network", which is active. (the file in this resource group is active too) There is no difference, how this file was modified in currently active profile - by hands, or by gui (yast-nework-settings) Moreover, i've tried to create new resource group in profile manager, in which i placed only this file, and activate it. That didn't help too. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

This sounds more like a scpm bug. Stano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I suupose not. I've tried to modify /etc/resolv.conf by hands, and name resolving was ok then switch to another profile, modified file again, switch back... i haven't encounter any problems with name resolving itself, but i have to modify the file by hands each time... Does SCPM supposed to be stupid thing? I changed the file (no matter how), and it saves this file for current profile(when i switch to another one). Then when i switch to this profile, it must restore the file to the previous state. Maybe i'm wrong?
