After last week download of 28 new xf86- input and video drivers my VGA mode was changed into 1289x1024 from my favorite 1024x768. Found nowhere a way to change my screen setup so I changed the mode 31a into 317. With this mode I found that everything seemed to work except kmail. In the message list the message of choice did not show in one color but showed three strong color which made reading the text in that line practically unreadable. Same as in the 31a mode, both 16 bit) as I found out later. The read messages in the message list faded away an could only made readable by going over the messages. Changes to mode 316 (15 bit) brought me a normal colored message list except it did not change the behavior of fading messages after reading them. Made a screen snapshot of this problem.
