[opensuse-factory] Automatic mounting of removable media ... Broken.

Hi All, Running openSUSE Tumbleweed 20180221, KDE Plasma 5.12.1, KDE Frameworks 5.43.0. I'm not sure after which recent snapshot release (within the last 2 weeks) has caused a new issue. Specifically, auto-mounting of removable devices. Four external USB drives connected. In the 'Removable Devices - System Settings Module' the 'Enable automatic mounting of removable media' is selected. Despite this, on boot, none of the devices are auto-mounting. This was working up until quite recently. Clicking on 'Device Notifier' and then the respective media will open in a file manager (and hence mount the drive). Can anybody shed any light on how to make this work again? Hi All,
Running openSUSE Tumbleweed 20180221, KDE Plasma 5.12.1, KDE Frameworks 5.43.0.
Clicking on 'Device Notifier' and then the respective media will open in a file manager (and hence mount the drive).

no, but I can confirm it is happening. bug report -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Looks like https://phabricator.kde.org/D10671 would fix your problem... So a bug report should not be needed. Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
