When I first started using Tumbleweed, I dropped all my VirtualBox packages to make sure there wasn't any issues between the newer Tumbleweed kernels and VirtualBox.
Are any of you Tumbleweed users using VirtualBox successfully while keeping up to date? If so, which repo?

I just installed VirtualBox from the RPM offered on their homepage, not a single problem with it. As it's an RPM, it's nicely installable using zypper. Only drawback is that you have to keep track of newer versions yourself since they don't have a repo for openSUSE (at least not that I know of).

When I was running 4.0.6, zypper dup proposed an update to 4.0.8 which installed and is running. That was before the current conflicts problem. # cat /etc/zypp/repos.d/virtualbox.repo [virtualbox] name=VirtualBox for openSUSE 11.4 baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/opensuse/11.4 type=yum enabled=1 priority=120 autorefresh=1 gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/orac

I use the same on my machine and haven't had a problem so far.
