[opensuse-factory] New package "gnome-shell-suseprime-switcher"

Hi, I know switching GPUs is a drag, opening command line, or application just to switch the GPU. Now there will be a better way! SUSEPrime Switcher allows you to just open a popup and switch the GPU on GNOME Desktop, so much easier. https://github.com/openSUSE/gnome-shell-suseprime-switcher https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/700141 Also I'm hearing there is a Plasmoid coming from somebody else, just you wait :P LCP [Stasiek] https://lcp.world -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi There is already dbus integration with switcheroo-control, works for me in Gnome with dual AMD GPU's... When the service is running, just right-click the desktop icon to select the device. -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° SUSE Knowledge Partner (Linux Counter #276890) Tumbleweed 20190428 | GNOME Shell 3.30.2 | 5.0.9-1-default Intel DQ77MK MB | i5-3470S X4 @ 3.60 GHz | Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT up 14:45, 2 users, load average: 0.09, 0.12, 0.19 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, SUSE Prime, and by extension this extension are supposed to help when this is not possible, namely with Nvidia GPUs with Nvidia proprietary drivers in hybrid systems.
