for some hours now. Is there anything that can be done on my side, or is this a problem on the server side. I already deleted all of /var/cache/zypp/raw/, most of the repo information downloaded successfully, but I still get the errors above.

That does not look like server side issues, but rather something on your machine.

From the list of repos listed in your mail, the one I *think* is causing your problems is libraries:languages:c_c++ - not because you have it, but very likely because you installed libxml2 based libraries from there.

That libxml2 update has been submitted to Factory but has crashed against a ton of QA safeguards to not get through. You having the devel project enabled means you don't get the guards in place.

You will have to manually revert back to libxml2 based libraries that work (and zypper won't be able to help you - as it can't do repo catalogs)

the easiest might be:

...

osc getbinaries openSUSE:Factory libxml2 standard x86_64 rpm -Uhv --oldpackage binaries/libxml2-2-2.10.4*.rpm binaries/libxml2-tools-2.10.4*.rpm

That should hopefully get your machine back on track (assuming of course that my guess about libxml2 is correct)

Same here. Since yesterday I'm getting all these repo cache error messages. Installing osc worked neither via zypper dup nor through YAST. @Dominique: Could you maybe upload the binaries? Would that work? Or would a system rollback work? I don't know whether this makes a difference, but these packages on my system * libxml2-2 * libxml2-2-32bit * libxml2-tools come from the following vendor: obs://build.opensuse.org/home:Dead_Mozay Kind regards, Antonio

Thanks a lot! By installing these, thereby overwriting the installed versions and disabling home:Dead_Mozay worked! All repo caches rebuilds and updates went through without a hitch.
