Hi, i just tries to join a ads domain and all I get is: # net join MEMBER helmholtz.de -Ujoachim -l Enter joachim's password: [2008/06/26 10:39:27, 0] utils/net_rpc_join.c:net_rpc_join_newstyle(349) error setting trust account password: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED Unable to join domain HELMHOLTZ. This worked fine in 10.x. This worked fine in 10.x. It is the same smb.conf as on 10.3, but I joined at 10.1
Please test with the Samba packages from the TESTING (3.2.0rc2) repository as it is mentioned at http://en.openSUSE.org/Samba Your install is very likely 3.2.0rc1. The -V option available to the majority of Samba binaries includes the pre or rc string. If possible use the packages available from the openSUSE Build Service as they are in most cases a bit earlier available or more current as the packages from ftp.suse.com or samba.org. If the bug is still visible from these packages please open a bug. http://en.openSUSE.org/Samba also has a bug reporting section.
