As openSUSE is a 'do-ocracy', go ahead and do it!
Quick look at OBS shows that there are already attempts to build it.
Once it builds properly in your home-project, find a suitable development project, submit
it there and afterwards to Factory.
Once it is in Factory, submit it to the next Leap.
Hope that helps...

This message is to suggest the entry of the SageMath package, it is
FOSS and I
consider it very useful for the educational area. Below its
SageMath is a free open-source mathematics software system licensed
GPL. It builds on top of many existing open-source packages: NumPy,
matplotlib, Sympy, Maxima, GAP, FLINT, R and many more. Access their
power through a common, Python-based language or directly via
Mission: Creating a viable free open source alternative to Magma,
Mathematica and Matlab.
If you think it is possible to include it in the official repositories,
appreciate it if someone did.
Without further ado, I thank you for your attention to the present.
