When I install systemd on a clean M1 machine I see these messages in boot.msg : <3>[ 3.083516] bootsplash: found, but framebuffer can't handle it! <6>[ 3.085410] Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 156x60 <3>[ 3.085413] bootsplash: found, but framebuffer can't handle it! <6>[ 3.087495] fb0: nouveaufb frame buffer device <6>[ 3.087496] drm: registered panic notifier <6>[ 3.087504] [drm] Initialized nouveau 0.0.16 20090420 for 0000:01:00.0 on minor 0 <7>[ 4.518373] PM: Marking nosave pages: 000000000009f000 - 0000000000100000 <7>[ 4.518378] PM: Basic memory bitmaps created <7>[ 4.524555] PM: Basic memory bitmaps freed <6>[ 5.537681] PM: Starting manual resume from disk <7>[ 5.537686] PM: Hibernation image partition 8:17 present <7>[ 5.537687] PM: Looking for hibernation image. <7>[ 5.537949] PM: Image not found (code -22) <7>[ 5.537950] PM: Hibernation image not present or could not be loaded. This has nothing to do at all with systemd, you see this on every boot regardless of which init you use. (Only if you use init=/bin/sh, you probably won't see this because then the initrd probably does not try to resume ;) -- Stefan Seyfried "Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body!" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
