Affects me too, NVidia driver v381.09

Hi, after this release I get this error while installing nvidia driver:
"An incomplete installation of libglvnd was found. Do you want to install a full copy of libglvnd?"
Overwriting existing libraries do the job, but I think it's not OK
PLEASE, there is no reason to quote the entire update email. Even instructions posted AT THE TOP of that mail: When you reply to report some issues, make sure to change the subject. It is not helpful to keep the release announcement subject in a thread while discussing a specific problem.
and TOP POSTING is BAD and against openSUSE mailing lists policy.
there is a simple answer to the problem with libglvnd available by rtfd for the installer: sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-381.09.run -aqs --install-libglvnd
I would have responded sooner, but my server dissolved.
Hi Patrick,
thanks and could you tell us what is cause of this problem?
thanks, m.

guessing, I would say the recent build changes to Mesa, or the NVIDIA-* package is incomplete. But, I *am* guessing.

Again *guessing*, but following appears to cover it: 2016-08-03 22:22 UTC by Cor Blom https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=992029
or more info needed?
Thanks Frederic for advice. Bug is already closed as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. That's why I am asking.

I can also confirm this on openSUSE Tumbleweed 20170420, after zypper dup, running the native NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-381.09.bin. This problem is actually present and the report should not be closed if several people confirm this further. Have posted this also as comment to your report. René
