As we're running towards the end of the 12.2 release cycle, the gnome team
is planning a openSUSE 12.2 GNOME Bug Squash weekend on Jun 30 / Jul 1.
The goal is simple: no more gnome related bugs in the 12.2 release :) (ok,
we ARE optimists).
The current bug tracker for GNOME related bugs on 12.2 already is in rather
there are currently 26 open bugs on component GNOME registered for openSUSE
12.2, but this just is not good enough yet.
We will gather on Saturday in our usual IRC Channel #opensuse-gnome @
. You're all welcome to help out making the best ever GNOME
3 experience available on the planet!
We need help in:
- Finding bugs
- Validating bugs
- FIXING bugs (that's the most crucial one! The goal is to have a lower bug
count at the end, not a higher one... but it's important to have a realistic
picture as well).
Thanks for participating! We're looking forward to a fun weekend!

So far GNOME looks to me to be in *way* better shape than KDE. Any
chance of a KDE bug squashing day?
