Note, this is taking much more than just a "few hours" given that almost all of openSUSE:Tumbleweed is now rebuilding because I updated both the kernel and kde packages, as well as rebasing the whole repo on openSUSE:12.1:Update to resolve some issues that I had found when trying to update to the latest GNOME release. So it might be a day or two, depending on the speed of the build system. Sorry about this, but all should be good in the end. greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yeah, the kde repo where this is being pulled from is messed up right now, the developers have been notified, so hopefully they will fix it soon and it will propagate to tumbleweed. greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Given the reams of posts about the status of 12.2 and changing the
release cycle/development model, it can be a bit hard to properly
track these kind of notices.
Is there any possibility of setting up a separate opensuse-tumbleweed
mailing list for tumbleweed users who just want to follow any critical
issues?
Greg KH, thanks for your hard work in maintaining this very useful distribution.
Regards,
Trent

I think we are at the point where something like that would be good to have (it's been what, over a year of Tumbleweed now I think?) There is a tumbleweed feed in the forums. And yes, thanks for your hard work not only in tumbleweed but also the work you put into the kernel. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yeah, but that's just a pointless discussion about how to get the latest kernel to build the different closed source kernel modules for, and isn't useful for much else :) I'll ask for a mailing list, that should work better for lots of us. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
