Issues with Leap / Tumbleweed VMWare images?

Hi all, short question, are the Leap and Tumbleweed VMWare disk images (VMDK) tested automatically in some way? Are there any regressions known? For a customer I tried to get something deployed in their vSphere, but as soon as I try some automatic configuration (cloud-init), Terraform/OpenTofu spits out an issue and the machine neither gets an IP address and no user configuration. So unfortunately I cannot log in to troubleshoot... :-( When launching without cloud-init configuration the VM boots fine and shows the interactive setup screen. I also gets an IP address via DHCP. I do not want to pollute the factory list with something that is more of a support question, but the people in the know regarding openQA testing might be on this list... :-) Have a nice evening/day everyone! Johannes

Hello Johannes, adding Santi and Jose. Some of the images are tested here: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/overview?distri=opensuse&version=15.6&buil... I am really happy to help to find capacity regarding specific Enterprise use cases. I did want to have all public cloud images tested in the past, I suppose this could cover some parts of what you're asking for. https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/106452 I mean the easiest would be to launch a ticket in progress-o-o https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/openqatests to test perhaps setup ground for vSphere. I am a bit afraid that we might not be able to install vsphere itself though. Lubos On Thu, Feb 8, 2024 at 8:31 PM Johannes Kastl <mail@johannes-kastl.de> wrote:
