It asks me something regards do i trust StartCom Ltd to trust certificates or something, i would try to give a better description but switching application frightens it away and it disappears. i visited what appeared a dodgy website earlier in the day so slightly concerned, can anyone explian? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

This might be related, depending on how your trust store is set up. https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2016/10/24/distrusting-new-wosign-and-star... Robert

Thanks for your replies for info i do not use firefox I think the message is one of those given in list 1. So i shouldn't accept (ive pressed cancel several times) I think the first pop up occured after visiting the dodgy site, it showed raw html with an error, then the pinentry thing came up - could i be in trouble? or did the site simply trigger something innocuous? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I am actually not sure. Can you run ps -efH And see who creates the pinentry process? Robert

I was actually bouncing through rasp pi vpn so could also a factor. After brief panic i assume all is ok.
