Hello, What is the current status of factory? Is it now: factory = beta9 and frozen until Monday? Bye, CzP -- CzP http://peter.czanik.hu/

A final sync is needed :-( I'll freeze after that one, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Does that mean, that some Radeon and PPC fixes can slip in? I was sad to see, that they are still not in the factory ChangeLog... Bye, -- CzP http://peter.czanik.hu/

No, it should be just libzypp-zmd-backend, suseRegister, installation-images and yast*, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

When is it to be expected? I would like to make an install from factory on a test server, and I'm just arrived at the location... Bye, CzP

You can go ahead and start right away, everything is working besides registration (repository setup for patches). Factory is currently rebuild, I have no eta, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

OK, I guess, that is something not really important if I want to test Xen on real server hardware instead of my notebook :-) BTW: does this mean, that factory will not be equal to beta9? As I'm already seeding beta9 images... Bye, CzP

It will be equal - murphy was with us yesterday and the factory tree was not build automatically so we run it manually today - and it takes a few hours :-( Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

One correction: Factory will indeed be newer - it contains a newer yast2-storage but that is a fix only needed for our enterprise products, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
