| I think this request is ridiculous... Factory is known to break once
in a while... I for myself always roll back to latest stable DVD
(normally last release, they can even be found onlein, for exmaple at
the moment I roll back to 10.3 in case of real problems).
Rolling back is not an option.
Only replace sax2 from 10.3GM does not work, it is not even recognised:
sax2: command not found.
That is why i ask for the previous pkg ;-)
|
| Or I just live with the fact that some feature is broken for a moment.
This is what i do, but to have to use 800 x 600 res, where an 1440 x 900
is appropriet, is very uncomfortable, try this yourself.
|
| After all, Factory was ALWAYS stated not to be used on a productive
installation. And if feature XY is not working on any test machine, this
should not really be an issue, right?
I know what is stated.
That does not mean improvements could not be made?
And i do not think it would be a bad idea, to have one place, where
factory is synced a few days later.
For the alpha testers sake?
This is the exact reason why there are too few alpha testers.
If the system breaks, there is no way to recover, than start all over...
In my opinion, this would not be nessesary...
