[opensuse-factory] nvidia and VT switching
Hi, just reported this one: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1083860 Switching to a VT and back to X makes my browser segfault and desktops effects restart. This is TW with nvidia from the repo. Would be interesting to know if others see it, too, and if, with what HW (mine is a 1060). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hi Peter,

doesn't happen here. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107 [GeForce GTX 750] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) After switching back to X Kwin tells me, though, that it had to restart the desktop effects. Thanks! Yes, that's one of the things I see. The segfault might be Vivaldi-specific, but for sure is caused by this graphic reset that also restarts the Desktop effects... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
