[opensuse-factory] 11.2 M2 testing
Hello, I am writing first post from within my oS 11.2 M2, running as virtual guest on my oS 11.1. Something is get wrong after I updated to latest Factory repos, infact now my keyboard is not responding in the same way as with M1, or even when I was using the first version of M2 (before last update). I am using a HP Pavillion DV-6230 made for Brazilian market; current keyboard layout is "br-abnt2" and keyboard selected with "GNOME Keyboard Preferences" is the Hewlett Packard Pavillion DV5 (the closest to my laptop I guess). Despite this settings, some keys are not working as expected and are now corresponding to different points of the keyboard. Beside this, FileZilla continues to be broken and it refuses to start. It doesn't matter what the physical machine is. Check the settings within the VM as the VM is not a laptop.

I tried all the variants for Brazilian keyboards, without success. Is this setting still dependendig upon /etc/X11/xorg.conf, or now it belongs to a different configuration scheme? BR

Just updated to latest Factory and now my keyboard backs to works flawlessly with the br-abnt2 layout. I noticed also a nicer Gnome look&feel, with a different window decorator that lights and focuses window's title. 1- FileZilla still broken 2- Screen Saver now seems to works correctly and now is possible to unlock the screen So, keeps going on good job! -- Marco <amdturion> SuSE Linux 11.2 Kernel 2.6.30-8-default GNOME 2.26.2 VirtualBox
