[opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed: openEMS / AppCSXCAD cannot find libmpi.so.12
I've just installed openEMS w/ AppCSXCAD and on invoking the latter I get presented with: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- invoking AppCSXCAD, exit to continue script... /usr/bin/AppCSXCAD: error while loading shared libraries: libmpi.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8--- The package openmpi-libs is installed, providing /usr/lib64/mpi/gcc/openmpi/lib64/libmpi.so.12, so I'm thinking that maybe the AppCSXCAD package is built with an incorrect library search path? I've already tried installing the 32bit version of those libraries, but they also do not get found. I've checked the applicationj itself and it looks for a 64bit library in /usr/li64 apparently. I could make it start standalone by adding the actual location of the library to LD_LIBRARY_PATH, but that still does not work from within Octave. https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1080443 Regards, Achim. -- +<[Q+ Matrix-12 WAVE#46+305 Neuron microQkb Andromeda XTk Blofeld]>+ SD adaptations for Waldorf Q V3.00R3 and Q+ V3.54R2: http://Synth.Stromeko.net/Downloads.html#WaldorfSDada -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
