While performing an upgrade from alpha6 to beta1, having skipped alpha7, I've noticed that sendmail isn't included on the DVD. There is no mention of it no longer being included in the announcement on the announce mailing list, nor on:

So, is this purely an oversight and, for some reason it never made it onto the DVD[0], or is sendmail being dropped from the installation media?
From my announcement: Important Changes Since Alpha 7 GNOME 2.19.6 Revised DVD5 (the DVD is now made up mainly from patterns) As sendmail isn't installed from any pattern, sendmail is no longer part of the DVD5. We'll put it back if we find a good way to automate that.
