Everything went fine but one strange zypper issue.
zypper lu as a regular user says all the repos are out of date and to run 'zypper refresh' as root to update it.
Problem is they are not out of date as running zypper refresh as root says the are all up to date, but then if you run zypper lu again as a standard user it says they are out of date again.
Tried doing the following as root zypper clean --all zypper refresh --force both of which complete successfully but now if you try to do zypper lu as a regular user, in addition to the out of date messages I also get the following messages about "Can't create metadata cache directory."
