Why not introduce a third session type that goes with the upstream defaults? Then those who want can try it out without interfering with those that are happy with the existing session types, or prefer a more conservative or experimental KDE desktop.

+1 Having an easy way to choose been all three session makes testing much faster and easier. I’ll be willing to test all three and provide feedback. -- Karl Ove Hufthammer
