I would default to openSUSE 42.1 to be next version. But I'm sure a lot of people have other ideas about it.
Not to bikeshed, but personally, I like it. Notwithstanding the Hitchhiker's Guide reference, but the history of the numbers "42" in the SUSE world - SUSE Linux 4.2 being the first release, YaST's first version being 0.42 (which were, as I understand it, references to "The Answer"). Given this is a shift in release strategy, as a new generation of openSUSE releases, this variation on the traditional "starting point" for SUSE versioning makes sense.
Not to mention that it's SLE release + 30. I'm sure there are other numerological correlations that could be made as well, probably even including some that involve the numbers 6, 9 and possibly base 13. ;)
In the words of Douglas Adams (referring to the selection of "42"): "42 will do."
Enjoy the time off, and early Happy Towel Day. :)
