Was this packaged dropped from openSUSE or wasn't there to begin with? I have come across a number guys, mainly newbies, who have got into a rut trying to use minicom, I pointed them to gtkterm which is a GUI with a simple menu that eliminates the confusion. No more gtk1 apps (finally) in openSuse. Bye.
