I'm not sure if it could run with efi, right now it's installed as oldstyle mbr.
Google says it's UEFI 2 - but then again the sites I find also claim it's maxed at 8GB.
In my experience, HP hardware had broken UEFI until 2016. :(
It was pretty much a given you needed to boot in CSM mode for most of their initial UEFI systems.
