Yes, you did read incorrectly: "Remove all files __in__ /tmp"

Not /tmp itself.

ok, Snapshot 20200806 installed, did "rm -rf /tmp/*" and verified it was empty and rebooted note: there is/was no "tmp" entry in /etc/fstab.
