So what does this do? Implement yet another package manager for their hosted binaries?
At the risk of one more mail to Factory about this.... Basically, it's a competitor for Steam - a digital game distribution service - but it includes a much-in-demand Linux version. In some respects you could look at it as yet another package manager, but... it's not distro specific like say an openSUSE repo or an Ubuntu repo. So a game distributor/developer can potentially use Desura to distribute (and sell) their Windows/Linux game without bothering with or worrying about msi, exe, deb, rpm etc. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
