Actually there is no maintainer for Blender. If you want to help with maintaining or anybody else, your help would be appreciated. You can try to build Blender package in Build Service (http://build.opensuse.org).
Wrong. Blender is maintained by Pavel Nemec (pnemec). Blender has some license issues, so it is not present in Factory until they are solved.
