I have supported SLE 11 at Walmart in 2008-2011 - I am retired. I have used Unix since 1973 (pdp11/30) and been through all the flavors (HPUX, MPRAS, AIX)

I first thought that it was hardware failure - it passed all Dell 7490 builtin diags and memtest overnight.

I have had 3 out of 13 Dell 7490 fail to be useable after a 15.2 to 15.3 upgrade. the other 10 are up and running - no scanner detected on one.

My main Laptop had to be reinstalled from my last 15.2 backup - the videos attached are that laptop - I restored it to another dell 7490 with the same results (number 3)

In the support forum - this was started - I have logged requests in that thread.

Any idea why this is happening - the 15.2 just runs with normal messages in journalctl - unable to see any 15.3
