After the latest upgrade to Tumbleweed 20180307 I did a reboot and found again, like after earlier upgrades, a black screen and no progress in the boot process.
Using a system on another partition I cleared /var/lib/sddm/.cache of the partition Tunbleweed is on and was able to boot Tumbleweed again.
Just to inform you.
No issues here, update 0305->0307, Intel HD530 + intel driver.
Mine is: ASUSTeK Radeon HD 5450, driver "modprobe radeon"
I have HD5450 on system just upgraded from 20171231 to 20180307 and experienced no black screen problem, but then I don't have sddm installed, and /var/lib/sddm does not exist. -- "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
