I'm afraid I still miss your point(s). Do you want to have separate /usr? In this case providing technical arguments why separate /usr is required would be nice. If you did, I must have overlooked them. Or you complaint that compatibility links between /usr and /bin,/sbin,/lib,/lib64 are missing?
