Since some people from SUSE that traditionally do not work in factory is joining us, we wanted them to have a document that explained to them the differences between the SLE dev. process and the openSUSE dev process. We had that in mind when we made the document.

I think it will be useful to help them integrate faster and without friction. Sometimes changing the way you work in a very short period of time is not easy. We want this process to go smooth.

Can you point me to concrete examples on the documentation that affect that fight? We didn't have any intention to go against it.

I think that having a documents where the current process is explained is an exercise of transparency, which is the first step for delegating and sharing responsibilities that are still within SUSE.

Are there things in the process we don't like? Let's change them. "Shooting at the journalists" for documenting them is not part of the solution.
