Hi Roman,
Additional rpm output: /usr/lib/plymouth/space-flares.so does not exist
It seemed that an environment variable was set to the wrong directory. This should be corrected now and would be available with a new build.
cp: accessing `./usr/bin/plymouth': Not a directory cp: cannot create regular file `./usr/sbin/plymouthd': No such file or directory cp: accessing `./usr/bin/plymouth': Not a directory cp: cannot create regular file `./usr/sbin/plymouthd': No such file or directory
This is however a different error and is not related to plymouth. This was already reported on the mailinglist before with sed generating the issue. Robert Schweikert replied last Thursday with a work-around :
Edit /lib/mkinitrd/scripts/setup-prepare.sh and on line 156 add
,usr/bin,usr/sbin
into the {}
Also see https://gitorious.org/opensuse/mkinitrd/merge_requests/5
sed moved to /usr/bin and since the directory is not yet created your initrd has /usr/bin file that is actually sed rather than having /usr/bin/sed

Raymond
Could this be why we are not seeing Plymouth? Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
