So this user is apparently running either openSUSE 11.0, or he's not aware of even the version of Linux he runs (well: would he know which windows he runs?) and he added the wrong repo in first place.
This being the factory list, I doubt it :-?
I don't... I know the VLC repo rather well and I'm absolutely certain that the 1.1.2 package of VLC only exists in the 11.0 repo.. so either he is a Factory user (as you suggest, as it's on this mailing list), who enabled the 11.0 repo (then I would be wondering why he dares to run Factory... he won't be able to fix anything that might break), or, as I suggest, he's running openSUSE 11.0 with the 11.0 VLC repo enabled (which will cause him troubles as the 11.0 openSUSE repos are no longer on the normal places, but need to be found in archived spots). So either way: PEBKAC :) Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
