So the password is "? I tried that to no avail. Funny thing is if I hit ctrl_alt_F1 at the login screen I can login by just pressing enter. That is, no password is required. But in the display manager screen I can't login by just pressing enter. Don't know what the deal is. The problem is caused because I have a newish Lenovo laptop with a One Link Pro dock and my external monitor runs off that. Unfortunately this is not playing ball with openSUSE TW Plasma.
