more than a decade seems like old to me.
How long have you been on planet Earth? To those of us past 60, 70 or 80 years of age, 10 years ago may seem like yesterday, last week, or last month, and on a retiree's income, it may be hard to justify the financial layout for replacing a nicely working PC or laptop with no more issues than (evil) planned obsolescence by big, money-making corporations building new fabs. 10 years ago in the FOSS world is more like 8-9 in the Windows gaming world. We have to buy an older generation of new hardware to guarantee full Linux support. 10 years of use can easily mean 12 years of age. Some due to prices don't buy new PCs. Instead, they buy much cheaper 3-5 or more years old off-lease PCs & laptops. For them to get 10 years of life can mean 15 or more years old. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg.
