evince has proven more than satisfactory for all of the online/semi online/offline PDF forms I've had to deal with, which coincidentally been quite a few in the last weeks. Form filling, saving, printing, all fine.
Lucky you! Perhaps even most users never need the Adobe Reader. But there is a constant (relatively low) level of incoming bugs where printing some PDFs fails and then usually printing that PDFs from the Adobe Reader works.
