Since the new kernel (3.2) in OS 12.2, I've been experiencing display blanking after about 10 minutes of inactivity. I've tried various methods of fixing this found in the forums and message list but they haven't worked. These included creating a new /etc/X11/Xorg.conf and adding scripts to the autostart folder in ~/.kde4. When I boot into OS 12.1 or 11.4 this behavior doesn't exist. Another possibly related problem, when I try to select a screen-saver in KDEs "configure Desktop", it causes a crash. That is the only item that crashes (at least for me) in "Configure Desktop" and I do extensive modification. Is there a way to tell the kernel not to blank? Kernel version: 3.2.0-2-default (also occurs with desktop & failsafe) Thanks for any ideas on the subject.
